REVIEWS:
"We visited Wilderness Tours in September 2012. The whitewater rafting was a blast and made even better by the exceptional guides who made everyone feel comfortable. The facility was much bigger than I expected and was very nice. We stayed in the family campground which provided a peaceful setting for our stay. The whole operation was well-organized from the start to the end. The river and the scenery were memorable and I can imagine that the nightlife during peak season was great as well. I would recommend a visit to wilderness tours to anyone who is looking for whitewater rafting in an all inclusive resort setting." - Charles W.
"What a rush! My husband and I went for the weekend. The food was very good... the lodge was great and the white water rafting was amazing! Let me start by saying we've never done this before... so for us - it was all new and exciting. The only part that was a little uncomfortable was squeezing into the wet suit (I liken it to putting on a pair of spanx that are a little too small - you have to jump up and down to get in properly). But, if you go when the weather is warmer - the wet suit wouldn't be necessary. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. He told us that if we were to return in June or July - the rapids would be more challening. For a beginner, September worked out just fine. The accommodations.... cute, cozy, simple (no heat). The lack of heating became obvious when the temperature dipped to zero. But, I guess it's all part of the adventure. All in all - I would highly recommend." - NicoleGL
"It was our first experience with white water rafting for myself and 8 friends. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny warm day. Our guide was quite entertaining, friendly and knowledgeable. He made the trip lots of fun. The rafts were large and felt safe with lots of room to move. The rapids were pretty neat, some felt tame, some felt extreme. The food at the halfway point was alright with hamburgers and sausage. Overall it was lots of fun. we would like to do it again but I would advise to go with a large group." - Road-trip-stash
"5 yes ago I did this trip with 11 girlfriends and vowed I would bring my family once my youngest grandchild was old enough (7). There were 10 of us 5 adults 5 kids. Everyone had an amazing time. The gentle family raft, or as I call it, the not so gentle rafting, was a blast. We stayed at the beach house which was well equipped and spacious for all of us. The guides and staff were amazing, especially Chis, Jordon and Robyn who spent many hours with my grandkids at the rock climbing. I would recommend this to anyone who likes adventure. Everyone is asking me when we can go again!" - Okamod2
